One-of-a-kind pieces of art. Hand painted distressed and antiqued. Made with salvaged wood, a vintage print, and then embellished. Each piece has something preowned & upcycled, reimagination and reuse of purchased materials (i.e. ribbon spools or packaging), and/or something vintage.
For the Le Lapin with heart, a vintage French print was used, as well as tin ceiling tile. It rests on a wood ribbon spool. A navy velvet bow with pearl sits atop tin ceiling scrap that's been painted and distressed. This rests on a wood slice that has been covered with a floral paper doily, and then embellished with hand painted wood mushroom, paper & silk flowers, moss and greenery.
The Le Lapin with Cross is similar. But has a dangling pearl, and embossed cross. The entire base is covered in flowers and greenery.
The darling Time 4 Church Chickadees is one of my favs! The base is a ribbon spool that's been decoupaged and jute thread wrapped. The top has a decoupaged doily, moss, and pastel pink pom poms. A vintage Easter print is on salvaged wood that's been painted a blue periwinkle color and distressed. Paper and silk flowers were added. Atop sits a hand laser cut Church with cross that's been painted, distressed and embellished with gold paint and gold filigree charm to look like a stained window.
